Has it been that long

I almost can't believe it has been so long since I last blogged. Normally I am acutely aware of the time between blogs. Today, I have to say, I am surprised.
For those of you who care - here's what's been going on.
My garden- DEAD. Not because I didn't cover it, but because the wind was gusting at 45mph and as a result the cover blew off my tomatoes. The tomatoes are fine, and I will be picking anything that is left on the vine today. And, in the long run, this is all ok because I am so over wanting to perform maintenance on it any more.
I just bought a camera! $630 later I have this and a free 2 GB CF card for taking lots of pictures. NO, I cannot take pictures with it yet. Yes, as soon as I can, I will be posting some. No Mackenzie, not cat blogging - unless I happen to stumble on a bobcat somewhere in my travels.
Work is keeping me busy. There was a couple days there that I almost completely forgot that reading was a necessary prerequisite for class attendance. I'm better now, hopefully, despite being assigned a in depth brief for the district court just under a week ago.
I promise to pop my head out again soon - and yes.. I will continue reading your blogs.
